HMI can decline, accept, retain or dismiss any person as a student at any time with cause, such cause being at the sole discretion of HMI. HMI's internship program provides students the opportunity to earn while they learn and begin their private practices in a supervised setting at the HMI clinical facilities. The Hypnosis Motivation Institute allows students to receive Federal Financial Aid. The education combines private tutorial instruction with online streaming video to bring the country's first Nationally Accredited Hypnotherapy training program to the privacy and convenience of students' own home. The Institute provides distance learning that is designed for students who live outside the Southern California area.

Its great clinical experience provides the foundation for HMI's Hypnotherapy Certification Training and Internship program.
